Years ago, after losing a parent, we found ourselves realizing how short life really is. We asked ourselves a question that changed our lives forever: What if we stopped waiting for retirement?
That realization pushed us to sell most of what we owned, hit the road in an RV, and begin exploring America. Along the way, we started sharing our travels online. Something completely unexpected happened next. A community began to grow around us.
We traveled the country, hosted gatherings, and watched beautiful friendships form around campfires, dinner tables, and shared experiences. People who arrived as strangers quickly became friends. Trips turned into long-standing traditions. We were reminded daily that while the places you visit are beautiful, the best memories are made because of the people you share them with.
Those years on the road shaped our entire vision for Cypress Landing. We began dreaming about creating a permanent place of our own, a destination designed intentionally for those exact moments of connection.
We wanted to build something more than just a place to park an RV. Our goal was to create a space to slow down, gather around the fire, spend the day out on the lake, and share a good meal.
Cypress Landing is the realization of that dream. While our traveling community will always be a special part of our story, this park is not just a home for the people we already know. It is a welcoming place where brand new communities and friendships can begin.
